For the production of Concertina razor tape, it is recommended to use steel with a thickness of 0.4...0.5 mm with a high-strength zinc anti-corrosion coating. These can be the following types of steel:

• corrosion-resistant, heat-resistant and heat-resistant thin sheet steel according to GOST 7350-77
• cold-rolled tape made of corrosion-resistant and heat-resistant steel according to GOST 4986-79
• galvanized thin sheet steel according to GOST 14918

Recommended wire for reinforcing razor tape Concertina - steel spring or rope wire is used to strengthen razor tape and give it spring properties. For reinforcing the Concertina razor tape, it is recommended to use the following types of galvanized steel wire with a diameter of 2...2.2 mm.

• Galvanized rope wire GOST 7372-79
• Galvanized steel wire GOST 9850-72

Anti-corrosion coating of the materials used

When choosing a material, special attention should be paid to the quality of the zinc anti-corrosion coating, since the durability of the entire perimeter protection system depends on it. It should be a thick, durable coating without defects.
