The principle of operation of the stamp for the production of Concertina razor tape
For practical application of the original method of manufacturing razor tape by Tkachenko Yu.V. (Ukrainian patent No. 95130 "Method and stamp for manufacturing barbed tape") a different stamp design is required, since traditional stamps either manufacture only one razor tape per pass, or are designed to cut out the entire profile of the tape in one die stroke, which inevitably leads to deformation of the manufactured razor tape and damage to the protective anti-corrosion coating. This is unacceptable for high-quality razor wire. The stamp design proposed by Tkachenko Yu.V. completely solves this problem, i.e. stamping of several strips of razor tape occurs without damage and deformation of the razor tape.
This is achieved due to the original design of the stamp, in which the punches for punching oval holes in the Concertina steel tape are spaced along the length of the stamp with punches for cutting the jumpers. This stamp design has a simpler design and at the same time eliminates deformation of the barbed tape and damage to its anti-corrosion coating. Consequently, when using the method for manufacturing razor tape and the stamp proposed by Tkachenko Yu.V., it leads to a decrease in the cost of manufacturing barbed tape and at the same time improves its quality.
